JDSLabs's O2+ODAC combination combines two designs by NwAvGuy with excellent build quality and a sturdy enclosure. The O2+ODAC sells at just $285 which, performance considered, is a bargain. We test whether this amplifier and DAC combination is really the giant slayer it is made out to be!

the front isn't the best looking, as you pointed out, but for the price it really can't be beat.

I'm looking at getting an o2+odac, have been looking at units made by mayflower electronics as they are the cheapest assembled units I have found. http://www.mayflowerelectronics.com/products.html

Do you think this would pair well with some of the higher end Sennheiser cans (598, 650, etc) or akg 701/702?

All headphones basically, it can drive everything from in-ears to HE-6s and HD-650s with ease.

Agreed. And nwavguy is an honest person, you get a great amp for a fair price. Way to go!

Too bad no dolby headpone 7.1. Would get it instantly. I really like dh and refuse to play games without it. Dolby should sell some sort of upgrade for standard usb driver. I mean it's all software so it must be possible.
