Jonsbo is a China-based brand that has been associated with particular attention to original design - and the added bonus of overall good build quality and performance characteristics. The company has made its name with chassis, coolers, and memory heatspreaders. However, following some problems with its supplier for the North American market, the company pulled from its market-penetration efforts.

It seems those times are past now, as the company has again made its products available via Newegg, B&H and Superbiiz. It seems they've got a new distributor deal in place which will allows North American users to once again purchase their products - should you accept that particular mission, of course.

i live in china and their brand here is a pretty good one.

they have very good looking chassis, air cooler, AIO cooler, and probably other stuff I haven't checked yet.

I had a Jonsbo chassi and it was a pretty good quality.

they fan aren't yet near the best in class manufacturer yet but are decent. the interesting thing is the price, their products will probably be way way cheaper than competition in USA. Especially looking at the AiO products.

Never ever heard of them

probably because they were exclusive to china market ? there is a loooooot of brand you probably never heard of outside of china my friend.

and unlike common believes their products arent crap, most industries are catching up and start to even surpass whatever is made in the west in some areas.

and since in china the market is ultra competitive the price remain overall low, plus like you stated there is no brand recognition yet abroad to add any "premium" on the price there.

Most Brands still manufacture in China where what they pay for it and what you pay for the final product is by an order of magnitude 10 at least, the premium being in good part for the Brand logo.

I've always liked Jonsbo. Minimalist in appearance, but the cases always seem like they're made well.

What I didn't know...is that they made an AiO. Thanks for pointing that out Batailleuse.

Best,

Liquid Cool

Why the price in the U.S. is much higher than the price in China? More than doubling.

I bought a Jonsbo UMX3 case last year. Pain in the ass to build and lacked front intakes, but it looked and felt amazing with its solid aluminum panels. It's probably my favourite silver case.

The new Metallic Gear cases would also be a good alternative, but they all have windows and I prefer solid side panels.

Import taxes/tariffs, shipping, higher reseller markup.
Ok. I understand. Recently that Texas Roadhouse opened a new restaurant in Shanghai and just the ribeye which cost $25 in U.S., is tagged as 798RMB ($120+) in Shanghai. Might be the same case here.
