but now that he has the 1090t, I see no point in upgrading, its not worth the cost... just sell the 3rd gtx480 at less than 50$ loss, you'll save in the watercooling and lose virtually no performance

Unless you find a way to use your 3rd GPU

he said he was looking at folding which will def make use of that third GPU :toast:

can I suggest you just sell or return one of the GTX 480s? lol

Money IS an object to you, and I doubt you'll have any fun with an extra gtx 480

I don't plan on selling anything.:wtf:

Even if I never utilize the third card, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy just having it.
I'm just going to try this setup out and see how it goes. It was only $300 for the CPU. If I decide to go with an x58 chipset, I can just throw this MoBo and CPU into one of my other cases. It's not like I'd be wasting money on the 1090T.

in that case, buy Binge's mobo and an i7 920/930, going at 180~200$ used or 200+tax new at Microcenter, or just from newegg at 300$ wtv you feel like lol Get some decent RAM at max 150~180$ (I like mushkins :)) and you should be much happier with that setup, much warmer and fuzzier to have a much longer e-peen of having an x58 setup :p Believe me, I just bought one and its flying over...

anyways, it'll use your gtx 480 better, and you'll have more flexibility in what you want to do GPU wise

Definitely. As a matter of fact I just bought the WoW wireless headset. I can't stand WoW, but this wireless headset is simply amazing. Kind of cheap construction for a $160 headset, but definitely worth the money.
