Just built my computer but having problems ....

Good point Mussels.
Did you plug the 8 pin power connector in. Its at the top left of your mother board.
Also do you have the heatsinkfan pluged into the right connector.
Should say cpu fan by the connector.

yep everything is plugged , but i mean it was working and it crapped out so doesnt it mean something is necessarily broken ?

is there a way to test the power supply alone ?

there is a way u jump out 2 wires in the 24 pin connector and then u just plug it in u do all this well its unplugged of coarse here is a link to the pins
jump out the green to on of the grounds
or blacks
