I agree with you simply because of how hard it will be to find a quality used P67/Z68/Z77 motherboard. I agree with @krusha03 that you won't see performance improvements with this plan at first, but you would be building your new system from the bottom up, instead of the top down.
I got my Z68 for 60e second hand, the cpu for 75e and the ram for 25e. So in total 160e or less than a i5-6400 and with this overclock I am matching a i5-6600K @ stock. It just makes no sense to change everything expect the GPU when that is his weakest link

I agree, thats how i feel about the 8350 rig of mine, course i will be upgrading and this one will find use in my wifes rig. Going Zen.

Thanks for all concerns, but to be honest in India here I was unable to find P67/Z68/Z77 motherboard at any online sites and if I continue this search to offline stores, even if I get one it would be around 8-12k. At this price tag I can buy some cheap z170 here from online/offline like MSI z170 Gaming m3 at 11.5k or Asrock z170 extreme 4 at 12k.
Then the question arises about processor or gaming card, So we all know, mostly we like to play cracked games on pc because original price is always too high initially and even if I buy(like I did before) some games and want to play online then it asks for update every-month which is about at least 1-2 gb. I don't have that speed in my internet connection or it is very bothering to update every games after buying even you want to play offline or single player(I experienced it after buying Tomb Raider 2016 on steam).
And "no-thanks" to this denuvo devil thing, cracked games is a missing part of my life. Even if someone geniuses cracks denuvo it will take time, the time for me to save some money for 1070.
I can see that many games will be launched at end of this year or in 2017 and i will be able to play those only after being cracked(it depends), So these are the parched days of pc gaming for the people like me. Hence buying a better GPU right now is not an option.

FYI-My current motherboard is malfunctioned, at some times causing usb devices detecting problem, suddenly disconnects my peripherals ,not working usb 3.0, and 2 out of 4 ports not working(I hate this board). That's y I have to move.

Yesterday, a shopkeeper of tech games components here suggest me to buy i7-6700(not k) with some b150 pro gaming board and the rest is depends on this. He did some maths and said that If i buy 6600k then i have to buy some z170 board which is pricey than b150 and also then I have to buy some cpu cooler for that purpose which is also an extra money, so he advised me to buy i7-6700 coz overclocked 6600k is equal to it. Thats way i can save some money by not buying z170 and cooler.
I think I7 6700 is more future proof that 6600k brcause who knows in future there will be games which using hyperthreads of i7, today's games only use 2-3 cores of CPU.

i7 would be a more suitable choice to be future proof but by the time games will use all those threads we will probably have 12 cores mid-to high end CPU's. In my opinion as a "gamer" you should have a balanced rig...so all together MB-CPU-RAM-VGA and SSD but the most important component in the gaming system will always be the VGA

As krusha03 said...it would be a good idea to wait for Zen/Kaby Lake and you'll get last gen CPU's or maybe the prices will decrease for the Skylake and you'll be able to get a better deal...just saying

Are you asking seriously?? Its Denuvo protection against code vulnerability applied to almost each pc games today, it makes them hard to crack or everyone says impossible to crack, even 3dm,skidrow, and cpy failed.
Yeah its a good thought of waiting for the next one.

As you can see here https://www.reddit.com/r/CrackStatus/comments/4805du/crack_status_denuvo_games/ 3 games were cracked and they continue at a "quick" rate (definitely faster than the first one they cracked).

I7 6700 is not bad but with your budget it's smarter to buy a i5 6500 then and save a big chunk of Money for something else. The i7 isn't really faster than that. Both have low clocks and hyper threading only helps in a few extreme games. Think about it.

Okay, Somehow by luck I got Intel DZ68DB motherboard at very cheap(but shopkeeper isn't providing any warranty, but he let me check everything before buy and also he will configure evrything).
So, then please can anyone tell me what to do next-
Update BIOS
Which budget CPU Cooler to buy for overclocking i5-2500k ?
And Most importantly how to overclock it ? Is overclocking of any processor depends on motherboard type like mine is going to be Intel DZ68DB.
Do I need to google like "Overclocking i5-2500k on Intel DZ68DB" or simply like "How to overclock I5-2500k".

I almost forgot one more question-

Do I need to reinstall Windows 10 after replacing my old Gigabyte h61 motherboard??????????

Please reply fast....thanks in advance

changing the motherboard will likely force reactivation. so make sure you have your windows key handy.
depending on how old the win 10 installation is and if its and upgrade from previous versions would determine if you should do a reinstallation. but get the activation sorted out 1st.

1st get everything working/stable and all bios/drivers updated then worry about overclocking.
i'll leave the how to section to others.

Get a Cooler Master Evo 212 for cpu cooling. Overclocking is easy once you have the system installed and running you can go to the bios and increase the multiplier to say 40 (40x100=4000mhz) and go to Windows to test stability. With a 2500k 4500mhz should be easily possible. Don't touch the bios yet if it works without update which I think is np.

Benchmark Scores well I've fried a 775' P4 12 years ago, that counts?
Get a Cooler Master Evo 212 for cpu cooling. Overclocking is easy once you have the system installed and running you can go to the bios and increase the multiplier to say 40 (40x100=4000mhz) and go to Windows to test stability. With a 2500k 4500mhz should be easily possible. Don't touch the bios yet if it works without update which I think is np.
+1 here.... but a fresh install of windows its a must, when replacing motherboard

Everything done with another 4 gb ram also(now have 12gb,3*4), but needed to reinstall my windows bcoz of boot/bcd error, this time windows 10 april redstone edition(thought latest is good n i only found this one).
Everything is going smooth, I can feel my system speedy than before like opening tabs, apps, vlc one by one without any lag.
Played n checked every game like witcher 3(no problem).
But this is the first time I cheked for cpu temp. is like 44 C at idle n while playing witcher 3 it was 65-69 Celsius.
Don't know if this is optimal or not but gpu temp is like before idle at 39 n 75 at max.
And here is the major problem after all done-
This motherboard has 2-USB 3.0 at back both of them is unable to detect my 1Tb WD External drive while it detected n working fine by remaining usb 2.0 ports.
And also I have a 3.0 pen drive which is quit easily recognised by same 3.0 ports buy transfer speed is like 5mbps only.
I updated to latest BIOS n Drivers.
Still havn't found a way to recognise my Wd at 3.0

Okay I am going to buy one of those, please just tell me which one is future proof like in later time when I buy i5/i7 with k along z170 and 1060/1070, so which one will help for overclocking of those.(I think u understand my question ).So i don't buy another one at that time.
As I can see there is no LGA 1151 socket support for CM liquid cool plus(Second one)

Simply take MSI Z170A Krait Gaming 3X and Be Quiet Shadow Rock Slim or Cryorig H5 Universal - they are superior to pretty much any single fan water cooler and even to some 240 mm water coolers, but prior to that check whether your case can has enough clearance for 161mm tall coolers. If not, pick Cryorig H7, which is also superior to most single fan water coolers.

I like the one u mentioned "Cyborg H5", I would buy if it fits on my intel dz68db mobo without covering extra ram slot.

It's Cryorig. :) H5 Universal fits just barely, H5 Ultimate will cover first ram slot.

Be Quiet Shadow Rock Slim fits for sure without touching the memory.
Here is one example from the internet. All 4 modules would fit regardless of RAM height.
