Just got an H50 and have a question! Stock Thermal Paste or MX2?

    Should I use the stock Thermal paste that is supplied or use some MX2 that I have laying around? Dont know how good the stock is.

    i have an h50 and i used the stock. from what i hear there is way too much on it but it is still working fine for me. i have never used mx2 or put my own paste on anything because i am new to building.

    If you can apply some MX2 I say do it. If you feel lazy or think you won't put it on right then just keep the stock but I don't think it would hurt to put on some MX2.

    Mind = Blown, This thing is amazing! My Idle temps sit at a cozy 18C and my system temps are 24-25c! Load temps dont go above 33c after 30mins of Prime95! Cant wait till this MX2 sets in

    Add 10c to that temp friend. The temp sensors on the 1090 suck. Oh that the thremal paste that comes with the H50 is good stuff. Its uses Arctic Silver 5.

    damn! the stock thermal paste is shin etsu very good high quality paste was hoping to get you before you used MX-2 but oh well, they are close to each other but etsu is a tad better
