Just Ordered Some New Parts :)

Well I decided to take the plunge and go with a W/C setup. I also bought some new fans to keep everything cool and quiet as my system right now is hot and sounds like a jet engine.

Here is a list of what I got....

Swiftech H20-220 Apex ULTRA+ Complete System Liquid Cooling Kit

Antec TRI-COOL 80MM 3 Speed Case Fan W/ Blue LED 3PIN 4PIN

2X Antec TriCool 120MM Blue LED Case Fan 3PIN 4PIN W/ 3 Speed Switch

OCZ XTC Memory Airflow Cooler Clip On Active Cooling Dual 60MM Blue LED Fans

Thermaltake A2427 Hard Drive Blue LED Cooler 80MM 2200RPM 22CFM 21DBA Fan

Arctic Silver Ceramique Premium High Density Thermal Compound (2.7 Gram)

The total cost was about $480CAD I took a bit of a hit in the wallet but oh well.
I will post pics and open up a case gallery of my updated computer when I get the parts.
Let me know what you think of the upgrade do you think it was a good or bad idea?

nice oc on your card! what are your temps like? and ambit temps fot that card @ 675!@ you should get a water cooling block for your card down the road maybe.
hey you got the same exact case and 120mm fans as me now lol, you know you can add a 80mm to the bottom, I got a 2krpm arctic cooling fan on the bottom of my case I think it will help greatly with giving fresh air to my new card.

Thanks. I have a Spectrum LED Fan Card blowing alot of air on my GPU so I can clock it that high. And I just bought a water cooling kit so that will be used on my card lol. the temps of the GPU are 55°C-56°C on load 69°C-70°C full load. The case temp is about 36°C

Edit - Yeah I never knew we had the same case lol and I already have a 80mm fan on the bottom of my case it's gonna be replaced with the antec fan.

Iam the very same! spent all meh cash on the 8800 and now iam aiming for the Q6600 also..but I will have to buy a new mobo/ram also :shadedshu
