Japanese company Konami Amusements is entering the desktop PC market with three new Arespear models the C300, C700, C700+. The three models feature similar bodies all measuring 575 mm x 501 mm x 230 mm with front honeycomb-style panels. All models also feature M.2 NVMe SSDs and dedicated ASUS sound cards. The Arespear C300 comes equipped with an Intel Core i5-9400F, 8 GB DDR4 2666 MHz memory, GeForce GTX 1650, and 512 GB SSD.

The two high-end models the Arespear C700 and C700+ both feature CPU water-coolers and are both equipped with Intel Core i7-9700 processors, 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz memory, GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, 512 GB SSD, and 1 TB HDD. The C700+ includes a transparent side panel with RGB lighting. All models come with USB 3.1 Type-A and Type-C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, PS/2, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. These new computers aren't cheap ranging from 184,800 yen (~1,760 USD) for the entry-level Arespear C300, all the way up to 338,800 yen (~3,230 USD) Arespear C700+. The Arespear computers will start shipping in September with international availability and pricing unknown.

If the rear looks the same as the front and where do the cables go? Why 9th gen and not 10th?

Is a cover for the cables, click the link above and there's a tiny picture that shows it.

Interesting design overall, but way overpriced for the low-to-mid range specs that are listed, especially since they don't even mention what line/series of mobos are being used....

Wonder if they would be interested in selling the cases seperately for like $100 ?? :D

I've never seen a company miss the point and spurn what is essentially free money as much as Konami has.

you mean to tell me that Konami arent satisfied enough with their virtual Pachinko machines that they now want to release their own line of hardware based ones?

Is Konami trying to enter the market or exit it? Because with these models at those prices and those specs, I really don't know what they are trying to do.

For most of us these are stupid prices. However, there's probably a big enough fan base that they'll sell.

Given the current climate I am surprised they didn't release one with an AM4 CPU like the 2600 or 3600.

Prices in Japan are generally much higher than most places. Used to be a big trend for Japaneses tourists to go out of country on vacation to and buy their stuff to fly it back in since the same products cost almost double there. The irony was that they would be buying Sony and other stuff made in Japan. I am not sure if this still happens but it was rampant when I lived there.

Really nice and original looking design.

What's up with gen 9 for a brand new PC though.

If they just sold the case, I'd definitely buy it.
A case of US$1000? Seriously?

Besides that, I thought it was an ITX case but it’s actually an ATX case.
Then NUC9I9QNX is definitely better than this KONMAI stuff even it’s also an overpriced one.

Not for 1000; that's InWin LE Case territory. For 150 or so after all import duties and the like. Similar to some of the region-specific and sometimes novelty cases one could find on Ebay or Aliexpress or TaoBao that usually for about that much for a similar ATX case after S&H + taxes.

Unexpected yet interesting move from Konami. We however expect friendly international pricing.
