Has anyone gotten a chance to play it yet? I just started downloading it 30 min ago and it's nowhere close to done yet.

It was downloading at a respectable rate and was 70% done when I got a message saying the servers are too busy. you would think that they would have let me finish my download instead of kicking me off to add a new person. Gay.

Oh good steam crashed and now I'm back at 0% with dial-up speeds. No L4d2 tonight. Steam is awful when they release new products.

So, I went into my games list, right-clicked on Left 4 Dead 2, clicked on "View Downloadable Content" and there is nothing there?

Go to "Settings" and try different servers. Toronto worked great for me. I played through the Passing on single player and I quite like it. Lots of dark areas.

I'm so glad that Valve are still releasing free DLC, bucking the trend of most software houses nowadays to gouge their customers for more cash at every turn.

Coupling this with a great money saving offer is a great way to build up a loyal customer and fan base. I've got every Valve game ever released and their great attitude to their customers is the reason why. :cool:

Was downloading at a respectable 130k/bytes then BAM, over 900... 470kbs from nowhere and got it done in 20mins. Not great, but its free. Basically like crash course for L4D as its only 3 chapters and wont take you too long. The mutation mode is great though.

I just finish my first playthrough of The Passing. It was a lot of fun and pretty cool running into the L4D1 characters.

I really enjoyed it, but it was a bit short, could've done with a fourth part! Mutation is a cool idea too, stops game modes feeling stale.
