Laptop purchase

A friend of mine has a laptop and he's going to sell on Craigslist for 350. However, since I am his friend, he's willing to sell it to me for 250. It's a Toshiba Satellite C655 core i3. Is it worth it? I checked it out and there's nothing wrong with it. Is it a good deal?

Graphics?
Size of laptop
Battery life, whether its still good or halfway dead
General condition of laptop (well taken care of, or dragged to hell and back)

Shucks, I do not have any of that information. Except that it is in excellent condition. If I remember correctly, the laptop uses an Intel Core i3 i3-380M.

I use an i3-370m in my laptop daily, I still find it to be a perfectly suitable laptop CPU, and with an SSD in my laptop, I still get around 5hrs of battery life.

I have a friend of mine which has a pention celeron dual-core mobile and it runs perfectly.
The core i3 is going to be great and he got his own laptop for more than 250 so I would have bought it if i really needed a laptop

Probably for that amount of $$$ is not a bad deal. I have a Toshiba Satellite P305d-s8818 laptop I'm selling for $300 but want something a little higher up. Still in great shape. Also depends on what you want to do with it to.
