Laptop sata port clamp

I have i lost the laptop sata port clamp on my Q45 laptop, it is supposed to hold the sata ribbon cable firmly in the port, I have used everything from blue tack to paper to hold it in, but it moves and fucks everything up. does anyone have a 100% working solution or have a spare from a broken laptop lying around

but i would need to stick that on the side where the pin are placed, meaning it would not actually connect to the port

Use some Shoe-glue/GOOP. Great stuff for holding something in place but can be removed and cleaned with ease. I've used this many times on Toshiba laptop DC jacks where the plastic supporting it breaks.
