Wow! We get an insanely funny Guardians of the Galaxy 2 trailer AND a Last of Us 2 trailer on the same day! This trailer gave me chills. The first game is simply one of the best games I've ever played. Naughty Dog knows how to bring it. Between their past performance and this trailer I am craving this game now.

We know it has a new engine (so no, not the Uncharted 4 engine), but no release date information yet. Sounds like we will find out more June 2017. They are attaching this game to the PS4 Pro but I'm sure they will put this out on both the Pro as well as the normal PS4. If this trailer is what we are going to get from the PS4 Pro I might just have to get the Pro even though I had zero plans on it before even if the PSVR is actually pretty fun. The animation in this trailer is just too good. Watch full screen so you can see the eyes and facial expressions better.

So happy to see the story pick up from where the first game left off but later in the future.

TBH I haven't even played through Uncharted 4. Console games just don't do it for me like they used to...I just want to lounge on the couch and watch TV/a movie instead. I'm definitely going to keep up with this though, the first was fantastic.

I've not played the last of us for the very good reason of not having a PS4. However, this is gonna change in the not too distant future when I get the PS4 Pro. My mate will give me his copy and I'll buy the sequel.

I saw a review on the original game a while back which looked really good.

At the risk of being a bit controversial, PS4/PS4 Pro graphics don't shame themselves compared to a PC. Main difference seems to be less detail at times and the much lower framerate, which tops out at 60fps otherwise they look great.

Played the first version on PS3 many years ago when it came out. It was one of few games I purchased on its release day.

And I never regretted paying the full price of it. I think I was forced to sit down to play most of it in one go.

Hell, you won't care about fps, you won't care about performances once you get sucked it. Not sure about this "2" and I am skeptical about it because the second series is generally never as good as the first.

One of few exceptions to that was Mass Effect 2 in my opinion.

Yeah I purchased the original game The last of Us on the PS3. Played through it twice. Then when the remastered version released on the PS4 I bought it again and I'm currently on my second play through. Let me say this; I very VERY rarely play a game a second time (single player) and I'm on my fourth play through for this game. That alone is telling on how good this game is.

part two will be fantastic. Naughty Dog only makes great games. Every Uncharted game only got better. I expect the same for the last of us 2.

That is not really playing it on your PC, it is still running off the PS4. Doubt you can run it at 1440 with 60 frame rates, edit graphic settings and the like.

I have that playstation service built into my 48" Sony TV that is in my bedroom. I have tried playing games through this service wireless and it is terrible. I also tried it hardwired into my network and it works much better but still looks like crap compared to just playing on a PS3 or PS4.

The only reason I'd ever be interested in The Last of Us (1 or 2), is if it comes to PC, or Sony makes a high performing PS to keep up with Scorpio. Personally I think Naughty Dog are too good a team to be controlled by Sony. They should have remained independent, and developed multi plat. There's more money to be made that way, and less restriction on development. TLoU is great in story, and gameplay if you're OK with the controls, but obviously limited in graphics.

I tried playing TLoU 1 on my friend's PS4, and even though I managed to get through some gang areas via sneaks and stealth kills, and beat the first Bloater boss, all the segments that were forced open combat with gangs felt too clumsy on the DS4. I really hate shooting with gamepads to begin with, and the game seems to go out of it's way to make you take damage or miss while shooting, unless you're quite experienced at aiming with such antiquated contraptions as gamepads.

It's definitely a game I'd buy on PC, but I'd only end up talking myself out of buying a PS, even a Neo, due to low spec, and forced use of gamepad. Neo is going to have a hard time selling up against the 6 TFLOP capable Scorpio. A lot has changed since the launch of PS4 and Xone, there's literally been a role reversal. First MS was playing the restrictive ones, now it's Sony. I doubt Naughty Dog saw it coming. I wonder if it will eventually make them regret their exclusive alliance with them.

I'd buy a PS4 to play this... IF the PS4 was backwards compatible. At least with PS1 and PS2 games. Those are simple enough to be easily handled by the PS4 even by emulation, and I have a lot I'd like to see upscaled by the PS4. I'm not paying for a subscription service for that, though... I already have the game, I'm not buying it again, especially through a monthly fee service.

The last of Us and Heavy Rain are my two fond memories of PS3.

I also spent months on White Knight Chronicles. I liked the multiplayer part and village building.
