Its just so hard to make an original zombie game by now. And it always has been, I mean... effectively we're still playing House of the Dead like back in the arcade no matter what. Even if they add survival elements or make it a pseudo minecraft... you still gotta smack em in the face.

Anything else you do with zombies quickly gets pretty weird.

There is something very satisfying about dunking the juice on you and snapping a zombies neck in Dying Light.

Ran the new map, ending is just recycled from other game modes. I do love smacking things with a shovel.

As do I, even got my eldest (13) into playing it with me, usually only a chapter at a time so maybe a quick 40 min hack and slash fest every now and then, but nonetheless it's pretty enthralling when we're both in the mood.

This game has received a 2021 update with many bug fixes & features which includes Vulkan API.

The Vulkan API for Left 4 Dead 2? Why? It ran at over 120 FPS on my 980Ti , 4k DSR resolution, maxed AA and 5820k!
