If that GT620M is the 128Bit mem bus version then this could make a nice little portable gamer, albeit at low/mid settings

that display is GARBAGE. i'm tired of these low res laptops. it's like we are regressing. how can it be labeled an ultrabook if it has a resolution from 2004?

It seems the "bar" was set too low for the moniker "ultrabook". This thing looks like a regular laptop. Fat. Heavy. Nothing special about the specs. And a 14" screen 1366x768. UGODDABEKIDDIN

1366 x 768 is OK, for a 14" screen size.
1440 x 900 would be better, but come on guys, it's a ThinkPad, it'll be bought in volume by coporate IT departments. It's not being marketed to gamers.
Relax.

Don't forget that the more pixels you have in the display, the more power that gets eaten by that display.
Any 'ultrabook' with super high resolution will not have good battery life unless compromises are made somewhere... think about that.

exactly - in price... but the difference between a 1440x900 and a 1366x768 in power/cost is not much... I can live with 1366x768 on a 13" screen... its not great but ok... but on a 14" or 15"? The screen sucks at that point.

SSD, graphics enough for cinema 4k, webcam, HDMI... yep everything I want. Saw these for $550 on Lenova's website. VERY HARD to beat that. That resolution is more than fine for 14". Any higher res would jack up the price, and it is not strong enough to game higher than that anyway.
