The Lexar NM620 uses a custom DM620 flash controller from Lexar. In our real-life performance testing, we saw good performance results despite the lack of a DRAM cache chip. With over 200 GB, the pseudo-SLC cache is also large enough to handle all bursts in write activity.

Nothing wrong with this but it's 50% overpriced. The benchmark for DRAMless TLC is the WD Blue SN550 which is waaaaay cheaper than this.

This DRAMless Lexar is boh 30% more expensive than, and slower than the superior DRAM-equipped Kingston's A2000. If you know anything about NVMe drives, you'd be an idiot to buy the Lexar at the current price.

At a price closer to the SN550 it would stand a chance; for this to have any chance of survival it needs to be priced closer to $100/TB and even then it's still outperformed by all the major competitors (WD/Kingston/HP/ADATA) in the $100-120/TB range

Well, I'm in HK, and the prices here are about 115 usd/1TB. In this case, I don't think it is overpriced. Lexar may want to focus more on the Chinese and Hk market.
BTW How do you calculate that 431MB?

My own, you should be able to use iometer or similar programs, even Powershell paired with monitoring software can do this. The charts are made in Excel, if that's your question
