Does anybody here have one of these and if so how do you like it? Any issues so far?

I found a used on with one year of use on it for half of what they were selling for when Best Buy was blowing them out before the C2's came out. It's a 3 hour round trip drive to pick it up and I'm debating if it's worth buying including the effort to go get it.

gas is expensive, 6 hours of gas plus w.e it costs might not be worth it honestly. depends.

i have seen C2's brand new with free shipping at $799 lately. how cheap is this C1?

My car gets 40+ mpg and it's an hour and a half each way. Seller is asking $450, I should be able to knock that down at least $25. No warranty though and that's a big thing. If I bought new C2's with my Visa card I have a special buyer protection plan that doubles the original manufacturers warranty.

I'm in no hurry, I have more 4K TV's than I can use at the moment plus the LG C3's should be coming out soon. I'm just pondering the feasibility at the moment.

dude that Visa benefit you have I have never heard of, that sounds amazing. honestly you would be a fool to not buy a LG C2 OLED when it goes on sale next time, make sure to get the best buy extra protection that covers OLED burn in, i forget the name of it, but best buy should ask if you want to add that warranty for an extra fee. then your visa doubles that length. that is actually really nuts. lol

that's what I would do if I were you.

a C1 for $450 isn't horrible either though to be fair. honestly not sure what advice to give you. i probably would have a hard time resisting a c1 48" for 450 bucks if it was a local seller with good reputation.

I have a C1 that I have been using for about18 months as a monitor it has been pretty fantastic. @phanbuey has a CX he has been using even longer.

I'd say 450 plus gas is an ok price vs 8-900 for a new one the C2 isn't really better and the C3 doesn't use MLA like the G3 so honestly if you skip the C1 at that price I would just wait for the C series to get MLA.

Get a wallmount though -- that helps quite a bit.

Can't really speak to the 48 but I absolutely adore my 42" C2, given some issues with the series though I think I'd wait to buy new with warranty.

I have a VESA mount stand that currently has a 50" 2019 Vizio M series 4K on it. After reading about the new LG META technology I may get a 55" C3 later this year. That tech isn't offered on the 48" versions.

The C3 is also missing MLA though and also doesn't have a heatsink which make a much larger difference seemingly. Hopefully at least MLA comes to the C4. This means other than better processing the C3 won't be much better than the C2 and probably worse than the G2.

I just went down the rabbit hole reading up on MLA and a few other things. The G3 could be on my Black Friday list this year.

Don't own it, but if soon is coming out the new one. I would wait for that model then go through reviews (wait around 1month) if reviews are not that great then get on the discount C2.
