hey ppl, just thought i'd post my plans on my new LCS.
im not gonna be getting it for a fair while seeing as i have no $ & its gonna cost me over $500 for the setup. anywho, this is what im looking at.

please post your opinions.
main reason im lookin at the UV red & blue is cos my case is fully acrylic.
& has 2 UV cathodes & 2 Blue cathodes (Blue's being changed before the LCS for 2 more UV's)

Was planning on getting chrome fittings for all, but have decided im going to go a little more custom & get some nice compression fittings for everything.

Pump will be mounted just under my card reader. Res just on the outside of the bay wall (next to the pump.) radiator will be mounted inside my case in the roof (drive will be moved to the bottom slot, res should only take up the top slot)
Will be hopefully getting a custom piece of acrylic cut, or will b doing some difficult modifications!

will probably not get the VGA to start. & will possibly get another 80mm rad to put in the front of my case when i do get it.

will post some pics of my case sooner or later. am still in the hunt for compression fittings & 1/2"ID, 5/8"OD Tubing.:toast:

very nice setup.

My only suggestion is not use the 1/2 for the tubing. IMO 3/8th is the best. Takes up the least room, is easier to work with and is able to move a lot of water.

Noctua has added a new fan to their lineup the NF-p12. A high static pressure fan with 54 cfm at only 19.8 decibel.
It have received excellent reviews: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/foru...ws/3792-noctua-nf-p12-120mm-fan-review-7.html

I am using 3 of them at the moment and i don't regret replacing my scythe s-flex.
Very silent and efficient, perfect for a water cooling radiator as it have high static pressure
if you don't mind the color...

a little paint & no problem.
i dont mind the DBA of the 1 i was looking at just coz my case fans are to noisy for me to be able to hear it anyway!!!
generaly more CFM would be better for a reservoir wouldn't it? figured it'd be able to move more heat away quicker... never mind, just read some more of that review about static pressure.
ah well, with some better cooling i might slow down all my case fans for some more silence!

(i can get the NF-p12's for $33)

oh, & the only reason i stuck with 1/2" is coz i have a fair bit of space & a powerful pump to move the water...... but will definitely consider the downsize.... will help in getting the compression fittings & coolsleve sizing (OD of tube needs to be 5/8" instead of standard 3/4" for 1/2" ID tubing.. so far it has seemed a little hard to come by thin walled tubing.)
