It isn't a high clock....

K12 is still a K10.5 cpu

With no L3 equals less heat

Smaller transistors equals less heat

HKMG equals less heat

awesome performance! well this should make building a LAN PARTY rig easier... now I can throw one of these on an ITX build and not have to worry about a video card. lets see.. one of these, 8gb ddr-3, 2x 2.5in hdd in raid, slim optical drive. should make a nice lan party rig, and it'll be just a little bigger than a wii. (at least i hope they make ITX compatible with this APU)

or i can just wait for it to hit laptop form :rolleyes:

It's ATX but you can get M-ATX

Note that they're using slow-ass DDR3-1333 RAM.
Poor choice as the IGP naturally lives off of socket bandwidth, all the while both the board and the chippery supports upto DDR3-1866.

This + Llano + TV Tuner would be a kick ass SFF rig that could actually claim to handle decent level of gaming. No more it can kinda play a few older games, sorta. Now you could say your 8 lb. Wii sized computer can actually play HD games from this year at a decent frame rate with most of the pretty still enabled.

This would make a killer ITX/M-ATX rig. Pair it with a nice small case and maybe blu ray drive for movies. You could always stick in a nice sound card or whatever in the slot.

For people who dont game a lot or use heavily this is also a good desktop solution, i mean if later on they upgrade the APU then that would be great because these type of users wouldn't need to get a graphics card then.
