have a question here about loadline calibration... in my bios I see it is set to disabled by default, from looking at most everyone elses whom overclock as well have it set to enabled, ,in my manual it says to enabble it adjusts the vdroop, keeping the cpu voltage more constantunder light and heavy loads, Now seeing that i have mine o/ced to 3.87 should i enable it as well? actually here is a template of my bios, can you o/c gurus please have a look to see if there is anything i might want to change,

If it really does reduce voltage droops, why not?

I always use LLC as it allows me to use lower voltages

so you are saying that I should enable it then....if i do enable it do i have to change anything else or just enable it and that fine? also is there anything else you would change in my setup? I was haveing a few lockups once in a blue moon only when i run a bench or stress test but all i did was raise cpu vocre to 1.2875 and mch core to 1.26 and that kept it stable, are those voltages to high? i dont thing so from reading other gigabyte board setups

Enabling LLC will stabilize your OC as well. I couldn't get past 3.4 without it enabled.

leave it enabled. its designed to stop your voltage dropping under load, meaning it doesnt need to be set as high on idle.

There is tons of debate on this. It is disabled by default because Intel specs are designed to drop at load so that the overshoot wont go over spec when unloaded. Just google it and you will find lots of info. Myself, I enable it.

well i enabled it today and o/ced to 4.0, I will run some stability test later in the day, Iam still debateing as to wether I should get some new ram as these are holding me back,I think they are at 1034 now and dont think i can o/c ram any higher, so i guess i could drop them down to 980 or something but i thought that was takeing away from performance, I just dont want to spend the cash on the ram if i wont realy see a benifit, but thanx all for the info on the LLC!
