My beloved Logitech G700s has finally started to get the dreaded double click death. Saddly I don't see a direct replacement for it put out by Logitech, the closest I can find with the options I want is the MX Master 2S.

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Or if anyone has any other suggestions for a replacement for my G700s. The main features I like is the shape, and the option for wired or wireless operation.

I would start with contacting Logitech, even if out of warranty. It is highly likely they will help to keep a customer satisfied.

As to your MX Master 2S, it seems better suited for production rather than gaming, and if you do go that route, I hope the 4000DPI cap is not too low for your comfort level.

This already is a warranty replacement from about 4 years ago that they sent me when my original G700 got the double click of death. I don't think they'll help much, but it certainly doesn't hurt to ask. I'll try contacting them.

Thanks, I don't really game as much anymore, and I actually have my G700s set to 4000DPI all the time anyway.

The main problem with the G602 is it doesn't allow the mouse to be connected with a cable. I really like the option of using a cable both for data and to charge the battery. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Edit: I might have to revisit this thead later, but for right now I actually managed to get lucky and find a G700s supposedly new on Newegg for a reasonable price from a marketplace seller, but it is shipped by Newegg and qualifies for Newegg Premier. So if it turns out to not be new, hopefully Newegg will take care of me. Thanks everyone for the help.

That's a great alternative! I might just have to pick one up and try it. Thanks!

I have a Kone XTD and it feels like my MX510 as of weight and durability.

G602 is a great wireless mouse and holds a charge for a few months even with it left on 100% of the time in endurance mode
