As a G703 owner with the powerplay mousepad, i really want this even tho its a minor sidegrade at best :(
I was thinking about getting that combination that you have, can you please give any thoughts?

I see no dual clutch scroll wheel, or hyper scroll, or whatever they are calling it these days. I've been using mice with it for seemingly 10 years and can't think of ever using a mouse without this feature :(
As far as I know it's in the G900/G903. The mechanism would have been too heavy to put into this one. And once again, high level esport players would rarely require that function.

Edit: regarding the above comments, being aimed at Esports professionals they want to avoid any 'cheating' capable features after what happened with that guy getting his team booted for using a macro.

I was thinking about getting that combination that you have, can you please give any thoughts?

Since the Logitech PRO is compatible with this same powerplay pad, i feel like detailed comments here are still relevant to the review, but i'll throw it in spoilers to avoid clutter

I won the powerplay pad from a facebook competition and have zero complaints - they designed the mouse to work on the pad, and you can swap the top pad part with any of the ones logitech sells (so you can replace it when it wears out, or even use a different brand one as long as its not metal i guess)

The closest to a negative (other than the price) is that the lightspeed/RGB part of the pad sticks out and can potentially get in the way of some setups if the monitor stand is close to you, and it makes me very paranoid to transport it outside the original shipping box because i'm worried of snapping it off.

Heres an image so you can see how close it is to the legs of my monitor stand:

Looks like a lighter G403/G703 with a bigger battery

The shape is vastly different though. If one liked the G403 shape it is not sure they'll like the PRO's shell design and vice versa.

honestly i thought i'd hate the Gx03 (i've had both, the G403 and the G703 - they are 100% the same mouse) because its shape looks so plain and small, but its working out well for me... i think the pro looks better, personally

The pro is 129£ on their website, that is quite a lot to pay for a mouse imo then another 80£ for the pad as well. I hope Amazon will have it on offer sometime soon, if not maybe on BF

Honestly the G403 shaped mice aren't small. They are a good medium, maybe even leaning towards large, because they are very bulky around the hump area. The PRO feels way smaller (and for me more controllable) in the hands, mainly because it's not that bulky, and of course it has a way smaller profile. But give it a shot if you find the shape to be potentially good, because if it fits you I'm pretty sure this can be considered as an upgrade. Unfortunately both the G403, G603 and G703 models use subpar switches and wheel encoders to this one.

Yes, I know. Those two are pretty ugly however.

New Logitech wireless stuff is unlike anything that existed before, in any technical way.
This is Pro eSports grade stuff.

Exactly. Logitech has been testing this mouse in the field for awhile now. The London Spitfire won the overwatch league grand finals with this mouse.

I don't see how this can be better than the G902 which I have owned for over a year.

It's only better if you want a lightweight (wireless) mouse, also if the shape (subjectively) is better for you. If you are happy with your G903 (I guess you meant that?) then there is no need to get the G ProWL.
Personally it's the best mouse I've ever had and I've tested a lot of mice.

This is mouse for my taste.
Perfect. But I bought G900 before some time. Logitech dominate in mouse world.
Logitech mouse, Steelseries QCK series for 10$ and that's it.

He look very strong and reliable. Hyper Scroll is big negative side of this mouse, but shape is perfect, side buttons perfect.
This is similar as Sensei only more advanced with better Sensor.

Good job Logitech.

And my G900 is pretty precise if you have nice hand.
3000-4000 dpi is enough.

lack of DPI switching should be a negative point too.

For the same price. my Logitech G902 was cheaper. This mouse just looks so basic... lack of DPI switching makes it overpriced for what it is.

You can bind DPI switch to any key in software.

DPI switching on the fly is not a must for 99%.

Mouse looks basic, because basic is what gamers want. Ambi shape, lightweight and good sensor.

I gave up on wireless few years ago for everything but head sets. They work just fine ... when they work but batteries and "lost connections" were a PITA.

Headsets have delay and bad sound quality when wireless. Bit rate is lowered ALOT to make delay as small as possible, but it's still slower than wired.

Logitech's newer wireless mice are like cable in terms of latency. Watch ROCKET JUMP NINJA's REVIEW. That guy plays fast paced shooters and dominate. He couldn't tell the difference between wired and wireless when using G Pro Wireless or any other LIGHTSPEED device with HERO sensor.

Logitech's LIGHTSPEED mice are the only wireless mice I would trust for serious gaming.

Can you remove the Mousefeet with the help of a hairdryer and then RE-USE them again after reducing weight?
