Well in my second rig i've a rather dated E5300 thats been running sweet at 4.1ghz,12x,1.48v for almost 2 years now. Back when i first set this oc i thought its quite extreme & there was a good chance this little E5300 might not last to long. But what the hell it wasnt expensive.
Two years down the line & many hours of gaming & general use this little cpu still runs like new.
Cupple of weeks ago i pushed the oc even higher Ive now got this E5300 @ 4.35ghz,12x,1.61v thats the max i cud get with it still stable running games & benchmarks. It now cracks 21 gflops in intelburntest & 17 seconds in winprime
& its stopping at that now till either i get round to upgrading or it dies
