your speeds are cL 11 which are slower than the rated 9

XMP stands for Xtreme Memory Profile it is not AMD or intel specific this profile is what the sticks are programmed to run at. If XMP is not selected/enabled in bios the sticks will run at JDEC which are the speeds the memory has pre programed to run in "compatibility" mode if you will.

You dont have it, same with my EVO.
Youll have to input all of the numbers yourself, its quite simple, just write everything down on a piece of paper and input it into the BIOS

No don't use that software, print that memtweak picture out or write down all those numbers then plug them into your bios. Copying just primary timings might not be enough. Try to put in all the numbers from that memtweak dump. View the memtweak as just a way to see what the XMP should be.

So I did a bit of testing this morning. BF3 on high-ultra (mixed, no AA of course) settings. 40c was the highest temp and all around 60-80fps. HUGE improvement over my old CPU which pulled 30-50fps.

Great if you can run BF3 for a few hours you are probably stable enough, from my experience the BF games seem to pick up instability more than Prime 95 and Intel Burn Test. Are you running the 1866 now?

Great if you can run BF3 for a few hours you are probably stable enough, from my experience the BF games seem to pick up instability more than Prime 95 and Intel Burn Test. Are you running the 1866 now?

I've been running the 1866 since I got it going yesterday, I just didn't have the timings right.

I've also seen huge FPS boosts in Warframe and Dishonored. (Except Warframe crashes on me constantly, and it's not the hardware because it did this in my old rig. I should probably contact DE about it.)

General boot times went from 10 minutes to about 3 minutes.

Overall, I can see a huge improvement over my old rig, and once we can get these timings right. I'll be enjoying my (overdue) upgrade~

Some Asus boards have a MemOkay button that might auto fix things, but I am not sure.

You could test stability with the bios settings yes and also you could run the aida 64 memory benchmark and see if it is performing as expected. If it does both then you are probably golden You could do a test to see how it performs as set above and then try setting everything to auto except the 9-10-9-28 2T. Whatever scores better keep.

If you had better cooling, I'd say try Intel Burn Test Ultra for 2 hours or so. Maybe try prime 95 for a day? Set custom and change the memory to near 16gb to stress the ram. OCCT also can stress memory and cpu.

I have never been a good ram overclocker sorry.

edit: I forgot to mention try hyper pi 32m and see if and how long it takes to complete.

Only FX 6300 on HWBOT Hyper Pi. Maybe you should try to beat some records.

Anyway, Hyperpi is good for seeing if your ram is stable enough to test further. Next step is prime 95 over night with all ram loaded IMO.
