I'm starting to hate my inkjet printer, so I decided to buy a Laser Printer. But I don't know which one is the best quality/price ratio. It should cost under 160 euros. Thanks

What other features do you need? I would have a look at what the consumables cost, as that's what going to matter in the long run.
Something like this maybe?
Kyocera gives you life time warranty on the drum.
Or something with network connectivity?

I definetly want one with network connectivity (LAN ethernet), and good printing quality and cheap toner.

Toner is something you're going to have to look for locally and compare pricing, as that varies a lot from country to country.
What about the rest, scanner, fax, etc.?
I doubt printing quality will be bad on any modern laser printer.

I mean, you can even get quite a few colour laser printers within your budget if you don't need a built in scanner etc.

I've had a Brother HL-2170W for over a decade now and it's been great. Wish it had duplex printing (automatically prints front and back) but hindsight is 20/20.

They're cheap, the drivers are super lean (like 7 MB and generally auto-installs), and toner is reasonable. Branded Brother toner has a prepaid shipping label to return the toner unit to them so they can refill them and resale them, keeping costs down. If you want to check prices, mine uses TN-330 for low yield and TN-360 for high yield. Last time I looked, prices were terrible because of COVID-19. Not sure if it has recovered again yet or not.

Keep in mind that budget laser printers aren't a fan of printing on anything bigger than standard letter size. Need bigger trays and stuff to handle bigger sheets of paper.

I've been fairly happy with Brother laser printers. I currently have an MFC-L3770CDW.

I'll definitely recommend duplex printing. That was a premium feature 10 years ago, but it's included on even the cheapest Brother laser printer available today.

Xeox Phaser 2030BI is probably the cheapest option right now. ~80Euro new, cheap-ass toner, can be easily chip-modded for easy cheap refills.
It's very simple, but because of that - least likely to break. And it has WiFi.

Basically, anything in that price segment is meh... in terms of features or cool looks, but general rule of thumb is: want cheap toner refills - get Xerox, Brother or Samsung. Some of those printers even have interchangeable parts, and in general are super-cheap to maintain over the years.

I guess I should mention I have a Samsung SL-C480W colour laser with built in scanner and it's been rock solid. Sadly they sold their printer business to HP...

Europe uses A4 paper ;)

The cost of printers has really dropped over the years.
Sometimes I think that they're selling them at a loss, just to get you buying their toner and ink cartridges.

Their toner and ink cartridges will never come down in price. That's how they make their money.
I have an old Brother printer that is so old, it's growing hair on it.
I buy cheap cartridges online and have them shipped to me. It's usually about 50 bucks for three of the high capacity cartridges and that's a lot cheaper than factory parts are.

I'm sure that the newest printers have some sort of baked-in way to make the cheap way undoable.

Gotta chime in with my vote for Brother MFC-L2700DW.
Wired or wireless, copy scan fax (with phone) also have a small case of toner cartridges 3rd-party.
Networked on Linux for print jobs from devices around the house.

Expensive ink cartridges always going dry. Forget that!

From what i see is that Brother and Xerox are the best. I want one with LAN, Automatic Duplex printing and pretty cheap toner and parts. I don't care about scanner or fax. Any ideas? we use in Europe A4 BTW

I only want black and white, dont want color ones.
