Hi Guys,

I'm not a true "Lefty" but most of the time I prefer to use a mouse and type left handed. What do you Lefties use for a mouse?

Note that I want to find a contoured LH mouse and I have large hands.... getting tired of using universal mice claw style (I believe that's what it's called?) because that's the only style available.

My current mouse is a Logitech G300s and it's ok to use right handed/not so good left handed and it's pretty small for my hands.

C'mon Lefties... share your experience!

There are some good mice that are reversable but I don't think I've used any like that

Usually i'm right handed, but i'm using a right handed Logitech M185 left handed, left button with ring finger and right button with forefinger.
Although the mouse is small i can use it with my stubby fingers.

Some times they are on sale. Usually 139 but can be found on sale for 79 some times.

Got to install the software to turn off the RGB goodness tho or to set the mood.

go for mionix avior or the G900,
both are ambidextrous, so you can use it both ways

My dad is a lefty as well, he just uses some generic wireless logitech mouse, never hear him complaining.
Hard to find a real left "shaped" mouse I think.

Logitech Trackball. Ambidextrious. I had bone spur surgery in my left shoulder & had to switch to righty, had no problem changing.

(I changed back as soon as I could)

(I use thumb & 'ring' finger on the two buttons, & first 2 fingers on the ball)

+1 to the G900, it is ambidextrous, and has switchable side buttons, so you can can either have them on both sides or just on the one that you prefer.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

This is what I've found so far:

Lefty Mice...

Goldtouch Comfort (LH)

Razer DeathAdder (LH)

Universal Mice...

Logitech G300s

Trackball Mice...

Kensington Orbit w/scroll ring

Logitech Trackman Marble

Both of the lefty mice look like they would be worth a shot to try. The Goldtouch one is a good size but sounded a little light weight/cheap in a youtube review. Also, I really liked the Kensington trackball and the scroll ring looks like a great idea.

I already have the Logitech G300s, it's a really nice mouse but it's a little on the small side.

Verdict:

Will keep looking and try the G300s lefty for awhile. Really close to pulling the trigger on either the Razer DeathAdder or the Kensington Orbit.

Thoughts?

What did you end up ordering? Left Handed Death Adder would be what I'd pick in your circumstance, the shape is supposed to be similar to the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer but left handed, and Death Adders are good for larger hands.

I had that Logitech Marble and its fun to use but there is NO mouse wheel, which is really irritating and a deal breaker IMO.

There is also the Razer Naga Left Handed, but I think the DA is supposed to be better for comfort and reliability, however Razer isn't the most reliable brand regardless I think.

You can also get larger palm grip mice that are ambidextrous like the ZA12,11, FK1 (+), Steel Series Sensei, G900 etc

edit: mean to say sensei

If I recall correctly the steel series sensei are a Ambidexterous mouse, and you and I are similar sizes. my experience was it was adequate not as big as my G502 but pretty decent sized

The Kensington version has a scroll ring at the base of the ball, interesting feature but I was never thrilled with the build quality of Kensington mice so I'm hesitant to try it out.

Software Win 10 LTSC 21H2
If you live near a Best Buy you can go and see the right handed Death Adders, usually they are on display. See if you like the clicks, weight, coating, even if it is a righty shape. The one at my store was really beat up so I don't know if it was really all that representative. I am a right hander with medium hands and use the right handed only EC2 so I can't offer much first hand on these.
