looking for a good game

i'm looking a for a first person shooter game that playes in the future
somthing like a mix of earth 2140 and Battlefield 2142
also it must have snow like 2142 i have seen lost planet but i dont like 3rd person shooters somthing for consoles
anny one got some idea's ? oh yea and it must be direct x9 i cant run x10

Lost planet kicks ass. You should download the demo. It is a system HOG though, so you need a X1900, or 7900 to play it on high smoothly.

Yup, I tried the demo, had everything at low, I was pulling 15 fps if I got lucky. You need a very strong gfx, for it to be playable at very low settings you're looking at a 7600 or x1600.

i just tryd the lost planet demo i runs smooth at 20fps
after a while i shooted rocket luancher i started to get artifacts and had to downclock my x1950pro

i got half-life 2
and i finished doom 3

That looks awesome(bioshock) I think I'd rather play that on the pc then the 360 but both are gonna be great,Crysis is gonna have great water effects, game almost looks real

edit: and Unreal tournament 2007, which Im most anticipated for....yes more then crysis

I see unreal as a decent multiplayer game..to fast for me..I prefer to think rather than point and click everywhere! Its great for testing how good you really are in FPS games tho!

Crysis water effects will def take the medal for best water effects once it comes out..Bioshock will have number 1 spot for awhile first!

I did see lair...its for PS3 only Just look at it..love the medieval stuff and yet ill most likely never play it

if GTA4 is not on PC then I will buy PS3 just for that game!!! then ill be able to play lair
