Looking for FPS game where you control teammates

I just got done playing Jerico and loved it. In it you control your teammates not as a squad but individually.. (well actually you can do both)you can switch between them because they have different skills. Only other game like that I remember was Diakatana. I am looking for more games like this that are single player campaigns.

Please don't reply with games where you order squad movements only.. player characters must be switch to-able.

Any ideas? (For PC)

Thanks!

I have seen gameplay videos for full spectrum warrior, Desert Storm 1 & 2, The Scourge Project: Episodes 1 and 2, and they are all third person games. Again, as per my title, I am looking for FPS (First Person Games).

Can anyone confirm that any of these games has a first person mode?

I forgot about ghost recon.. I played that many years ago.

This. You have a real-time action part and a planning part where you can assign tasks to team mates and once you hit PLAY button, the actions are carried out. Plus, the Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe version is freeware now :)

yea, the original ghost recon is a good one for that. you lead a team of up to 4 guys in a mission and you can switch between them fluidly.

Hidden and Dangerous is third person. Played it. My Mum got it for me years ago for Holiday.

O.k. I see it's time for a crash course. Gather round Kids! Today's Video Game Lesson: Difference between FPS and TPS. FPS stands for First Person Shooter. This view lets you control the character as through looking through his own eyes. You only see your arms and weapon when looking forward. Just like Real Life! TPS is Third Person View. This view puts your center of view behind the characters back. You see the characters whole backside and the back of his head. Which is not like real life. You actually have to pan the camera around the character to see whats straight in front of you. This may be a fun mode for some because you can see the character's pretty avatar and see all around you better to know when enemies are sneaking up on you but it's not very realistic. I feel this is a handicap and prefer the more realistic First Person View. Thank you for being a good class and not throwing spit balls at the teacher. Hopefully, if you were paying attention, you learned something today :)

Some games can be played in Both FPS and TPS view. For the purposes of this this discussion, these games may be listed as it satisfies the OP's query.

H&D is not 3rd person. You can switch between first person, third person and tactical board. But you're not forced into anything. If you want you can play it through using just first person mode. You cn use just tactical board if you want. But combining them is probably the best. Precision from first person and multi-tasking from the tactical board. Because sometimes you can do better job than a soldier with crappy stats in auto mode based on tactical board. Or sometimes you just have to strike from several directions at once and you can't do in any other way.

that is a fun game! to bad it is not multiplayer!

Republic commando had an MP element on the Xbox I'm sure?
To the OP:
Try Fur Fighters, I don't know if it had a PC version but you can run it through an emulator (it was definitely a Dreamcast game), not sure if it had a first person mode but it was great fun and incredibly daft.
Republic Commando is an awesome game, try the demo, the rest of the game is even better than the demo, you'll probably get REALLY frustrated at it in places as there are crazy difficult spots.
If you can find something similar to without warning you might enjoy it, without warning was console only and wasn't perfect unfortunately.

Forgot to mention "Clive Barker's Jericho". Haven't played it yet but as far as i can remember you could lead team mates.
