Looking for Nvidia Tesla C2090 VBIOS

Hey guys,

I'm looking for the VBIOS of the card mentioned above. It can be safely flashed on the M2090 and is overclockable in MSI Afterburner.
Unfortunately the M2090 BIOS is not overclockable and supplies lower voltage, so despite the chip being the same as the GTX 580, I'm not able to use it to its full potential.
Modding the bios in NiBiToR had no effect, so my best bet is getting the C2090 VBIOS. I haven't been able to find it or any of the cards to pull it myself.

These cards go for 20€ on my local market and I'd love to unlock their full potential. 580 performance with 6GB of VRAM is pretty good.

I'm not sure I could've been more clear. I'm looking for the C2090 VBIOS, as the M2090 VBIOS is freely available (and I have the card on hand anyway) but for the C2090 I can't find it.
I know I can flash it onto the M2090 (not the same card!) and it's overclockable in MSI Afterburner. I know this from forum posts (5+ years old) talking about it, as well as the C2075 VBIOS being available and overclockable but not giving access to the full amount of shaders on the chip.

They use the same PCB and same die, but one comes with a fan and video outputs as well as overclockability. I'm only interested in it for the latter, because I can just use any Haswell (or higher) iGPU for image output.

Open GPU-Z

Screenshot it, get a pic of white sticker on card back, post here.

While in GPU-Z, click the black arrow next to the uefi checkbox and attempt to upload your bios through gpu-z itself to the vga bios collection/database. You may get a prompt that the bios is already in the database with a link to it, copy and paste link here. If you dont get that prompt just push it through and copy and paste the link you get here.

I would like to study your bios

The card is currently with a friend. I'm going to upload the BIOS as soon as he exports it for me. I haven't forgotten about this thread. I might even buy a second M2090, if I can find one for a reasonable price.

Have your friend do the bios and pics, send them to you so you can upload them here

I got the BIOS file so far, I'll ask for the screenshot (forgot to do that, sorry!).
Maybe you can already use the rom itself, if not I'll add the other info asap. I also asked for a picture of the back, because I noticed the only pictures I still had of it are too blurry.

Here are the GPU-Z screenshots as well as the stickers in the back.
I also uploaded them to an imgur album, just to be safe.

Give me time to look at the info (im at work currently)

It appears you have a 6GB card

You will need to look through tesla and quadro cards (GF110) for a bios

Does your card have just a VGA port on it?

It feels like maybe we are talking about different things. I have the Tesla M2090. It works flawlessly and as a Tesla workstation card has NO outputs.
Your links are helpful, but the Nvidia Tesla C2090 (basically the M2090 with video outputs) does not seem to be in the database, which is why I've created this thread.

I have flashed the available BIOS of the C2075 tesla (uses same board, same chip, just less shader units unlocked) onto my M2090 and it worked perfectly. My problem is, that I cannot use MSI Afterburner to overclock the M2090 in its default BIOS and if I overclock the C2075, I get results worse than what the M2090 can do in stock. The Quadro 7000 BIOS will also work, but clocks even lower and is not overclockable either.

To recap: If anybody has a C2090 still lying around, please upload the BIOS. I know it's overclockable and will run on my M2090.
The C2075 BIOS is unfortunately not enough and the M2090 BIOS will just reset overclocks I set in MSI Afterburner instantly instead of accepting them as I would've expected.

Okay listen the BIOS that is installed on your card when I looked up the info it shows that the BIOS information has a VGA port contained in it that is he reason why I asked if your card has a port on it or not.

The information I provided you can look up the the Tesla line of 6GB cards and probably use 1 of those.

These might be the only others that will work on your card.

You could always try modifying your existing bios with higher clocks and volts.

Thanks for the response. There is no VGA on the card. I've tried modifying the BIOS before by spoofing the device ID so that NiBiToR would recognize it. It's worked, in that the clocks visually changed for GPU-Z but it wasn't using them under load. I suspect that this BIOS and the Quadro 7000 are different from other Fermi ones.

Thanks for the response. I'll just hope someone comes along with a C2090 bios.

I have spent hours trying to find either the bios or the card so I can pull the bios myself. If you have a link, please do tell. I definitely couldn't find anything, which is why I've created this thread on different forums in hopes of someone having the card or bis.

Sorry the database is exhausted, i can only suggest the bios i pulled, it is possible to bios flash something different and it works regardless. To me it sounds like the C090 wasnt that popluar. The card is pretty old and it might be time you upgrade unfortunately.

Apparently you can overclock the Nvidia Tesla M2090 with an old version of Nividia Inspector, rather than using MSI Afterburner. That solves the need for the C2090 BIOS for overclocking.
