Looking for Original BIOS for XFX RX 570 8GB Black Edition – PCB 160430HJB, Hynix H5GQ8H24MJR

Hi everyone,
I have five XFX RX 570 8GB Black Edition cards that originally came with a mining BIOS for RX 470. Unfortunately, none of them have the original BIOS anymore, so I don’t have a clean reference to work from.


Here are the key details:

• Model: XFX RX 570 8GB Black Edition
• Memory: Hynix H5GQ8H24MJR
• Sticker label: R8 BLK ED RX 570 8GB 1328M D5 BP 3XD
• PCB Code: 160430HJB

I've tried multiple BIOS files (XFX, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor — all for Hynix) but still getting error code 43, no GPU clock reading in GPU-Z, and VRAM errors on all channels (a0–d1) when running memory tests in Linux (tserver). Drivers are installed clean via DDU, and flashing is done with a programmer on both BIOS chips.


If anyone has a working card with the same layout and memory, and could share a verified original BIOS, it would help me revive these cards properly. Much appreciated!

This bios contains the same PCB code and has Hynix H5GQ8H24MJR support. The only down side is, it is slower clocked.

If you have tried the first bios in my previous post, then the cards are fucked up. It is validated and matches the PCB and memory.

there are 5 identical video cards all had rx470 bios for mine, they are rx570 8gb
i rewrote both bios on each card on the programmer and now they are seen in the manager and gpu-z as rx570 but with error code 43 in the manager and in gpu-z without gpu frequency and the driver is not installed

With programmer you mean ch341a? or amdvbflash? CH341 has the potential to damage or even kill the card when used improperly

I've been writing BIOSes for 15 years, when I say programmer I mean hardware, not software. I've encountered a lot of BIOS-related problems, but I can't solve this one.
