1. To see if its possible to enable 600w
2. Curious about voltage/boost behavior between BIOS versions
3. I am tweaking for some tweaking lol

Thank you W1zzard, I could not find it there, I'll keep checking back though didn't know about the unverified tab, cheers!

Why not try to cross flash with a founder's edition as they have a 600W limit.

Update: It worked thank you @W1zzard! Free 500 AUD upgrade here.. successfully unlocked from 575w to 600w and all the other OC goodies :)

Update & Findings: This fixed a number of things for me when overclocking and benching most notable when running Steel Nomad, I had to tweak the mid range of the voltage curve in MSI Afterburner to get higher clock speeds as it would not go above 950ish volts. The OC BIOS seems to not have these issues.

You really want to set the house on fire and weren't sure how to do it, isn't it... :)))

All good my house is well equipped with fire blankets and extinguishers however I hope my watercooling system does it's job in the worse case

Heck yeah @Frizz great result!

Makes me keen to flash the OC BIOS onto my GAMEROCK 5080 to see if it nets any other improvements too, a quick search suggests that even just the flash helps with overclocking.

Thanks man, real happy as my waterblock is coming in tomorrow now she's all prepped :D.

I've seen a thread in Reddit where someone did this on their 5080 GameRock and got some great benefits which is what made me pull the trigger in the end. The non-OC BIOS on my 5090 does not boost very well at all it seemed very buggy to me (at least in 3D Mark) now I'm hitting intended boost and unlocked some extra power.

Palit (in my case though) are acceptable hardware with crappy software (which you can easily ignore). GTX770-> GTX 1080Ti-> RTX 3080Ti, none of them failed so far.

found that one and did the same, took all of 5 minutes.

higher power limit, not that the 5080 was ever hitting it anyway, but it's nice to know theres extra headroom for really demanding situations, and naturally clocked higher too, win win!

Super quick and dirty OC/UV and it's tickling a 4090's toes.

Not a reference card unfortunately
the 5090 gamerock is 100% a reference card. it's identical to any PNY card, msi ventus, anything you will find in a dell or HP desktop, etc. it's a copy/paste nvidia design.

Thanks for the correction that's good to know.

It is not a full reference, its PCB has a few extra inches extending the top higher. You will not fit reference water block.

Also very useful information, doing god's work.

Sorry for interfereing here but i m looking for special bios too. Where is the section you mentioned? Can,t find it. Found it! thx

The Bios of the Gainward RTX4080 Super Panther OC is not in the Data Base, but when i try to upload mine it says the bios is in the DB yet. Why is that? Is that why the bios is maybe under the unverified ones?

Yeah I found mine in unverified, it didn't specifically state OC as well, so have to look through the ones available and look at the Power Limit / Clock Speeds manually. Glad you found it.

Read a few posts above and use nvflash - use a youtube guide should be good to go the flashing process itself takes seconds which is cool and scary at the same time.
