hi guys , im looking to buy a new Wired 4port router for home use, something cheap and reliable. price maybe around under 40 bucks.

my current rounter giving disconnect problems when im playing games. for example when i leave my RF online mmorpg game on to do mining while im AFK, by the time i came back i got disconnect on both PC. and this happen alot at least more then 2 or 3 times a day dropping me off. Currently im using the D-Link DI 604 model H/W A2 version , which is like 3 years old since i bought.

so do you guys know which brand and model i should purchase for my next 4 port wired router? dont need anything fansy, just something is fast and reliable wont disconnect me..

Bump: It also depends how much max can you spend, Becuase if you spend a little more you could get a very nice quality router

friend has it and its the same thing as the wrt54g just without wireless. thing is rock solid. i have many friends with d-link, netgear ect and they all have problems. they buy linksys and their problems dissapear

Go with that, you know why because I have linksys, and never experinced any bad problems (except customer support). They run well!

My D-Link is playing up a bit at the moment. Wireless keeps failing.

Edit: It has been replaced with a more reliable Belkin
