I just RMA'd my 6870 (which is around 247$) for a full refund, I have had issues with 2 back to back 6870 (its only me please dont think i am bashing AMD as I am not)

so now I want to upgrade, as my 9800GTX+ can't handle BC2 maxed out "nicely"

so these are my two options for upgrade :

Option 1 : GTX460 768 twin frozrII and a Hyper 212+

Option 2 : GTX460 Hawk 1GB with 212+ which is a lot more.

For the resolution you use, no. If you're considering upgrading your monitor to a higher resolution before your next video card puchase, get the 1gb. Doesn't make sense though that two video cards were bad. :ohwell:

I know, but dude once I put in my 9800GTX+ it was just like a new computer, NO CRASHING what so ever, ran smooth, (not as much FPS) but hey smooth...

Driver conflicts. But yeah I suppose you should stick with a Nvidia card then. :)
