m2 upgrade

Hi I recently bought a https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08LW41KFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I was going to change the m2 in it to a Samsung but the one that is in it is a short one and there is no room for a longer one do Samsung do a short one.

Wow, that is such a horrible design by Dell. Why would they do that?
The WD SN520 is not a great drive at that and you're now limited to 2242 drives, which in general are only sold to system integrators.
Sabrent seems to have something you could swap it out with, but I doubt it'll perform any better.

You might want to swap out the SATA hard drive for a SATA SSD instead.

Impossible to say, they provide zero users specs. I would think it's exactly what you have now. I would say that all 2242 SSDs are DRAM-less due to their size and thus will be poor performance drives.
