How to finish final mission (The Death of Art)? There is no save after The Grand Finale.

What worked for me: rinse and repeat the level until you get it right. Try to constantly have enough cover - crouch often, reload only if you are 100% sure you are safe, remember the sequence of events and enemy positions. If you are hurt badly in the first minutes, just do a suicide and restart the attempt. Tommy gun and shotgun are your best friends: shoot the first one in short bursts to avoid recoil, aim for the heads. Try to be precise and don't waste ammo. When facing the final boss, you should hide in a position where he can't hit you, but still keeps shooting - shoot him when he reloads.

Good luck!

That was a kickass game. I recall even Playboy magazine endorsed it. A lot of attention to detail, even running out of gas, and getting chased for running red lights. You had to take firefights seriously too. Everything else they've done since then in the Mafia franchise has been over powered eye candy games by comparison. I have to admit the New Orleans bit and playing as Franklin in Mafia III was a nice change of pace though.
