Been running atitool 0.26 since it was out with no problems whatsoever, turned comp off couple of hours ago to go out, got back switched it on, booting up as normal but upon reaching desktop when loading atitool it bsod's on me:wtf:
Couple of troubleshooting reboots later i confirm its atitool, uninstalled it(safemode), reinstalled it, installation went as normal but as soon as i open the app it bsod's again, when rebooting again i notice that atitool doesn't run when windows starts but i cant run it coz you know what happens:confused:

Here's the bsod message:
A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. The faulty driver currently on the kernel stack must be replaced with a working version.
Blah blah go into safemode, update drivers etc.
Stop: 0x000000c4 (0x00000085, 0x8579c868, 0x00000010, 0x000000c0)

The second set of numbers in the brackets change slightly everytime but the rest stay the same.
I'm at a complete loss as to whats happened, i dont think i've ever seen this kind of error being posted before. HELP

Sounds like the card drivers are not fully installed when atitool starts loading causing a conflict.

Looking through the bug reports thread i have noticed that one other user had posted the same prob but unfortunatly no-one replied, no matter what drivers i used for display(Warcat,Omega,ATI), atitool just kept on blue screening.
I havent a clue what happened but also noticed that a few programs had also vanished as if they had never been installed, also i lost every single restore point.
Anyway i'm all back up and running now with a fresh install of xp and atitool is working fine:)

A really weird prob and i hope it never returns.

Check you are using the latest drivers, and that any other video card drivers you had/have are uninstalled. Otherwise, it wont work.
