Why didn't they just put a 3 slot backplate on it?

If its cheaper than other expensive thirdpart companies like ASUS/EVGA/Gigabyte will be a good deal anyway

I hate 3 slots cooler. I miss those old 1 slot cards from BFG.

They were overheating, but they were cool.

never mind the crazy cooler, if this card is cheap enough it would be awesome for a waterblocking project

I really wonder how on earth they are so incapable of hiring some native English speakers to assist them with this.......the amount of crap coming out of them is spectacular..lol.

I still can't get over how they reference supercars.

Is this what they were going for? I guess I can kiiinda see it...

I guess that's one way to sell your super... cards?

3-slot cooler is kinda much for a 250w tdp card, for sure. But others are doing that, too, aren't they? Sure, it may be efficient for what it is, but better cooling performance always helps with noise. If you have the space, why not? I'm sure some people out there appreciate that as an option.

I just can't get over how ugly it is. It just looks cheap... not good for something so big and attention-grabbing. Eh, that's my taste. I dunno... to me it looks like an Aorus 2080 and an MSI gaming trio had a child and something went horribly wrong. Like when a super-attractive couple has a really ugly kid.

What's more weird to me is the dinky little block between the two finstacks. Why make it 3 slots tall if you're not even gonna use a pretty big chunk of the extra space? What's above it that needs that space? Besides that, the finstacks look to me like something you'd see on a 2 or 2.5 slot card, with the rest of the space being devoured by that ugly, visually-noisy shroud. The whole 3rd slot is pretty much being consumed by the shroud extending ridiculously far out past the fans.

Call me crazy... usually when you buy a 3-slot, it's to get more heat sink, not more hollow plastic and a couple of big-ass RGB chevrons. It probably would've been a 'fat 2-slot card if they hadn't insisted on putting those there. You could argue that aesthetics are aesthetics and it still works fine, but I kind of draw the line when the aesthetic choices cut into performance, but don't even look good doing it. Especially on top of a top-tier GPU.

Between that and the marketing phrases, I just can't wrap my head around this.
