I read through and I started glazing...

But did they fix the black hole stash issue?

I had several iconics stashed away at my apartment and they've all vanished. In their place was a normal item and a gun with level 1 stats.

I grabbed a save game exploring.. Items are in a stash but there's another stash ID with the fucky items.

Oh and don't use the Nomad stash before the move, exact same thing happened. Basically ruined my crafter playthrough. Bah!

7Days to Die had simliar long lists addressing bugs and changes every new alpha. But this list looks like so many easy fixes and changes I dont understand why it took such a series of events to address them.

This Game is the perfect example of Publishers pushing too hard and forcing day 1 patches to fix gameplay. Also why you should never ever pre-order games. It screws with your sanity. :D

The game has some serius design issues, fixing the bugs is great and all, even though this should have been done BEFORE release, but the game itself still fails to interest me at all. Its another sandbox games with a huge chest fo features that get used occasionally, it lacks the unique asthetic of the original trailer, and the scripted gameplay trailers showed a much more interesting premise.

Honestly I'll still pass. DIdnt pick up the OG release, and since then there have been plenty of other good games coming out to play. First impressions mean a LOT in such a crowded industry.

Quick Poll is a little flawed. I assume most people are like me, e.g. played a living shit out of it, and now waiting for DLC or even GOTY edition.
With nearly 150hours and 100% achievements I doubt I'll come back to CP2077 at least for another year, patches or no patches.

It's not horrible, but it's definitely not what they were selling.
For me it's an equivalent of Fallout 4: too boring, too grindy, too glitchy and too unbalanced. Some people find appeal in that, some people like it. Back in college I used to like grind and breaking balance in Morrowind. I used to work in a gaming club(internet cafe), and we had competitions on who can exploit crimson plague glitch further, and then had roof-jumping contests in Vivec.
....but I had a bunch of nerd-friends to have fun with... not so much in CP.

30 hours is barely scratching the surface of the game. Just enough to run "on rails" through the main story.
Play a bit more, try to deviate from carefully planted and suggested paths, explore the world a little. I'm sure you'll notice at least "one or two" glitches. :D
If I am to guess, then my guess will be that you are right, the main "line" of the game is polished enough, not sure about the side lines thought. And I've seen the same main quests on 1060 with 6 GB of VRM - there were graphic issues I did not see with 2080 or 6800 XT, so I suppose that the game was not so well polished for lower end hardware, e.g. less VRAM for example. But never the less - CP2077 is a game I liked a lot.

I'd call that a massive fix :) ...

Yeah. Also means a lot of issues, but again, lots of work went into this and it's appreciated that they don't run away from it but work on making it better - not like others who just give up on fixing stuff (-cough- anthem? -cough-)

For the game the Size and hype of Cyberpunk.. it might take years of updates and polishing to become perfect(like Witcher 3 level)..
maybe i ll buy the game in in 2022 or 2023.
but good to see they are going in the right direction.

You need to include a [I care but I'm waiting for the "Enhanced Edition"] option in the poll.

Still, this patch is good progress, something that should've been there at launch or not.

...waited 1,5 years for GTA5 to be released on PC. I have years of gameplay accumulated on my accounts in the form of not yet played games which I can enjoy not to mention the new releases...
Indeed Kohl what you said hits the mark. I as well have years of gameplay accumulated and not yet played. Or holding them back after only a few times played to having a selection and or choices to play for rainy days ahead. They are for me in a way like a delayed Chistmas gift.

Most of my games I purchased were at least 2-plus years after they hit the open market or at super special Steam sales in-between. I will probably pick-up Cyberpunk (if fully matured?) once it hits between $12-$20 and then with all available DLC's included. I must have played Metro Exodus, Fallout 4, Dishonered 1-2, the Witcher and the Wolfenstein series, etc, 50-times or more (with Vortex mods) and still staying 100% fully entertained. So time is on my side.

I also do not buy "Early Access" also known as early funding games and stay away as much as possible from independent developers. The only games I purchased only months after them being published and at full pricing was Dishonered 1-2 and Fallout 4 and I never regretted those purchases. Obviously Cyberpunk is not one of those "paying full price" games for me. Greetings from the man on the street.

With this big patch the game is on release state whereas at its launch it was an early beta. Kudos to the devs for their hard work which isn't recognised as fully as it should because of the marketing bs the company decided to spread and fall in it. A good game for sure that is becoming a great one with time.

For me, this game was mostly a disaster. While it ran fine on my rig and I was able to get around the majority of the bugs, the biggest con for me was narrative-driven - there isn't a single ending in the game that I consider to be 'good' where I come out of the game feeling like my time was well-invested.

Ultimately, I'm glad I never spent a cent on it and I have no plans to ever do so. I still have a hard time believing this game was made by the same dev that made The Witcher games.

Now if, by some unlikely chance, CD Projekt Red fixes my really long list of Cons in the game and adds an actual good ending to the game, I might check it out again down the road and actually buy a copy. But I don't expect them to make narrative changes to it.

I do like the fact that Steam list this as "SMALL UPDATE / PATCH NOTES" and then proceeds to list in 2 parts.

And the update is out and just under 30GB.

Did you pirate it, watch a Let's Play, or get it gifted to you? Just failing to see how you can say it's a disaster without buying it.

I would agree with you that the ending (the one I chose on my first playthrough at least) left something to be desired. That said, I found the major NPC storylines to be very well done.

well that was a rather big patch @ 28.8GB's looks like they damn near rewrote the whole game. RT works for my RX6800 although fps is a pita (38fps avg) when using ultra setting so may have to turn that down to just high and maybe have a bit more of a fiddle with the rt settings see what I like and what doesn't really make a difference in game

Other than that the game seems to be working pretty well for now but mods are a no go as of yet until they update themselves as it seems CDPR have changed where they want mods put in order to have them work

medium ish with 40+ is my minimum' cause apparently thats what my card can pull with my resolution. 'based on benchmarks'

Yeah good luck with that I know of people in the games steam discussions that are using RX590's and they have to play on Low to get even a reasonably playable fps

I finished it by the time 1.05 or 1.06 came out, haven't touched it since. I might give it a try once all DLC's and paid expansions (if there are any) are released and are on sale. From a consumer standpoint - this should have been included in the original release. It would be fine with another delay, instead we got a sorry excuse of a game from CDPR (almost on par with the legends of original Witcher release).

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
I'm waiting for the DLCs since I suspect at least some of the content that was cut to rush it out the door last year will make its way in via DLCs.

I've sunk a few hours into it, mostly just to see how it runs (or doesn't run) on various platforms but I've intentionally not played more than about 45 minutes of the story for the moment.

A lot of people said "it needs another year" and I suspect those "mid-year DLCs" won't actually land until the end of the year at the earliest, and it'll be wise to wait for a couple of bugfix patches as you can bet your testicles that the DLCs will be a buggy mess, rushed to launch in an unfinished state too.

I mean I would say the ship blocking the Suez channel is a disaster yet I have nothing to do with it, nothing ordered that is on that boat or boats being blocked by it, no family involved, yet I would say its still a disaster.

You dont have to have a personal stake in it

Like I said many times, the game is a dud. It's not just the technical stuff but the game itself is underwhelming and daft, there is no patch for that.

Right, I'd agree that the Suez Canal situation was also a disaster. I was just inquiring as to which method @Razrback16 consumed the game (they do mention running it on their rig) as they specifically mention having "never spent a cent on it". They're entitled to their opinion regarding it, and I don't have a personal stake in others' opinion of the game. Looking back at it, my second statement was nearsighted and not well thought out.

Managed to eek it out so I’ve only done about 20% of the game so far. Waiting for my 3080 to arrive so I can crank up the settings. I got about 40hrs into a nomad play through and decided to restart as the guys voice was starting to bug me and switched to corpo chick which I am finding more enjoyable
