^^^ Amen to that, loved the games, had/have all of them and whilst I enjoy the odd strategy once in a while, it's going to be hard to get all the old crew moving across....... unless of course it is very special.

Yeah the SIM games were and still are great. But I got started on those by playing the Pen/Paper game called BattleTech. So for me, this looks awesome. I really hope they pack it with the RPG story lines. I did notice house davion and kurita in the screen shots.

Think I started playing battletech back in the early 90's.

I do not like the BUY STUFF at store thing. Lame. Your winnings should come from the battlefield, including planet resources you have captured. Not just mech parts.

Perhaps a proper sequel to MechCommander? That is a wicked fun game.

It does however, need a salvage system. That is one of the cornerstones of the Battletech world. These mechs were so expensive that taking whatever you could to use for your own was a priority.
In Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries, I remember the huge satisfaction of pummeling a 75 ton mech right in the cockpit with my 25 ton commando with my medium lasers knowing I'd get to take that puppy home. Ah, those were the days...

Think I'll pass on this board game.

Have the entire collection of Mech Warrior, Starting with MW2.
Pirates Moon is the only add on don't have.

Can play MW4 Vengence and Black Knight on new rigs and 64bit sys.

Setting up a Legacy P3 Win 98se to get back to the others.
Good Times with those games and the MS SW 3D Pro stick:laugh:
Long range lazers and Missles was my forte but not for close Quarters.

Later:)
