Memory recomendations

Well, my G.skills are starting to complain about being run at 1175mhz 2.1v 24/7, so i'm looking for some new memory and need your recomendations.

I need a 4GB kit, preferably 2x2gb config, since i've had bad experiences overclocking with 4 sticks. Willing to try 4 sticks again if it's cheap.

Main factor: Must do 1200mhz, and cheap as possible.

Good suggestion.

OCZ reapers (pc2-8500) are the same price, I wander which would clock best.

i remember there's a g.skill pi set that runs at 1200mhz, but it's expensive compared to the other kits (the 1100mhz kit is like $80ish on newegg). ocz has a 4gb flex (XTC or flex 2 or something like that) that runs at 1150. i have 2 kits of 2x1 Cellshock 800mhz. a single kit can overclock near 1200mhz easily on just 2.3v. http://overclock3d.net/reviews.php?/memory/cellshock_pc2-6400_ddr2-800_2gb_kit/1

I have 2x2gb Reaper CL4 pc6400 @ 2.15 volts running in the 980's @5-5-5-18-64. I would imagine you could go far with the faster Reapers.

I'm also wandering about the ocz flex kit, it's about the same price.

'im familiar with a certain set of axerams that can hit 1200 easily, but those on memoryc arent the ones i remember. the flex kit is great, especially if you have a water cooling set up. i believe techpowerup did a review on them. legitreviews did a review on them awhile back and they looked promising.

yea that's the one. problem is, 8GB is impossible since the heatspreaders take up the other slots. but 4g is plenty anyway.

I wouldn't buy OCZ memory, every kit I have ever owned have been complete pigs and given me nothing but problems. On top of that their usually more expensive than the competition and don't OC as well. I'd get the Axeram.

Ketxxx, I had the OCZ gold pc8800 before and agree that they are, they did not run as fast as these Reapers. I am impressed with the Reapers performance, but I am sure the Axe's would smoke them and they should for the $$$.
