I have 4gb of ram. If i have the memory remap feature on my board disabled memtest shows 3327MB.

If i have the remap feature enabled memtest shows 4095MB. Makes sense to me.

Here is the thing, if the remap feature is enabled, i get errors at memory addresses above the 4095MB (ie. errors at 47xxMB and 48xxMB).

Does the remap feature map RAM addresses higher up? And i dual boot, so xp will see the 3327MB while vista 64 will see the 4095MB. If i test with remap off does that mean it will be stable either way? or do i need to have it on for memtest? or will it not make a difference?
