Doing some final DDR3 ram overclocking on my Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 with latest 2901 bios before I swing to AM4 platform.
My ram in question is Corsair CMY16GXM2A2133C11R kit OC to 2166Mhz, 10-11-10-27. Its memtest86 stable before booting in to windows.
The issue is Memtest64 reports it as 1866Mhz DDR3, is this because the memory controller on FX-8350 tops out at 1866Mhz by default?
CPUZ is reporting correct ram speed & timings but just want to be certain that Memtest64 is doing its stuff with the OC ram settings I have enabled my system with.
