I have never heard, or heard of a mouse making a buzzing noise before, let alone two mice. That is really odd.

Even if the wall outlet is not grounded to "Earth" ground (and you should get that repaired by a qualified electrician), the mouse should be connected to the system's "common" ground. So I don't see how it could be causing any harm.

What if you move the computer to a different and grounded outlet? Have you tried a different USB port?

What if you find someone with a laptop and try the mice there when the laptop is running on battery, do they buzz then?

As colleague said, you should try different system, or at least different USB port

Some mice can make sounds that are similar to coil whine.
My steelseries sensei RAW produces a high pitch noise.
But it can only be heard when I put my ear close to it.

Mouses has coils?

Yeah really just a lens, crystal, caps, resistors and transistors, or and maybe a battery\leds.

I would try the mice on another computer and see if they still do it.

EDIT: seeing a lot more mouse problems popping up for as of late.

The thing is, there is only +5VDC and such a tiny amount of current in the mouse, it seems impossible (to me anyway) there would be enough potential to cause coil windings to vibrate enough to make audible noise.

It is the RGB PWM driver that whines... Class II MLCC... cheapest you can get... so no that's not something surprising.
