Unfortunately there aren't too many matx motherboards that can run at those speeds

cdawall is right about the mem...btw some matx even do Crossfire...like mine... though I don't xfire cause when I do my little case gets to be a little oven...LOL

mind if I ask what mobo you are using? and what case?

LOL i bet the do my case gets pretty hot with a single GTX470 in a mini ITX

its crazy the amount of crap they are cramming onto small boards now!

My plan is to build a mid range rig right now and pray that the 990fx/gx chipset feature some nice crossfire and overclocking matx motherboards, because right now there are only a handful of AMD matx motherboards worth mentioning.

The case is going to be a NZXT Vulcan, and the motherboard is going to be a MSI 890GXM-G65
