Microsoft has today revealed the complete list of games certified under the 'Optimized for Xbox Series X' program which is the indicator for games that take advantage of the full power of Xbox Series X. Games featured on the list could benefit reduced load times courtesy of the Xbox Velocity Architecture, include heightened visuals and DirectX raytracing, and feature higher framerates up to 120FPS.

Titles featuring the new Optimized for Xbox Series X badge can include brand new games built natively for the Xbox Series X such as Halo Infinite, or previously released games which have been enhanced to take advantage of the power and features Xbox Series X has to offer, like Gears 5. Microsoft has currently certified 22 games but plans to increase that number in the coming weeks and months leading up to Xbox Series X launch. The full list of games can be viewed below.

This list just highlights Microsoft's challenge when it comes to games for its console.

I look at it and think...Sony's 1st & 3rd party line up just pisses all over it.

This is a list of games that are releasing for Xbox One that the developers are taking extra time to add features that are supported by Xbox Series X, so I'm not sure why you're comparing it to Sony. I don't think Sony has announced anything like this so far

Sorry but that's PR bs at its finest. They're all multiplatform titles, no features are specifically designed for XSX.

Well, it's not specific features like you're thinking. It mainly just means higher frame rates or resolution. But that only means higher compared to the Xbox one, not the PlayStation. And this isn't a list of all of their 3rd or 1st party games (Example is Everwild which is an exclusive but isn't on this list. Could be because it's only for the XSX and not the Xbox One), so it's not good to compare this list of games to PlayStation's list. Because apparently PlayStation blew their load with their June event, while it's been known that Xbox isn't going to show off most of their 1st party games until the July event. So save the trash talk until then, okay ;)

Its too early to talk about either. Its a fine line, some of the developers are showing games off on their own outside of these events.. probably will be included later on like squadrons from ea. The price, ui, other features are important but they dont want to in your words blow their load in one shot. Revealing their hand a card at a time to eventually win with a shit hand but have the higher card.. just wait and watch, pref w/ popcorn.
