Microsoft Store Adds New Feature........Anti-Modding

I don't follow what MS is doing with their store since I don't have any plans to buy from them for now even if their games are exclusives to their store but it just seems to me that MS is in need of taking some advice from the PC Gaming community about what we like and mods are one of them.

All in the name of "security"! Well, this isn't the first time Microsoft screwed up. Anyone want to drink a shot for every time they pi** off their user base? Is it just me or this decade is getting worse with each passing year?

Not wanting to be called hysterical, I nevertheless must broach the question: How long until Microsoft makes W10 stop ANY game modding, even if not on the windows store? That is not outside the realm of possibility. Most people scarcely realize these things, because MS whittles away, bit by bit.

It's a good thing one of my PC's is staying 8.1.

Everyone is preparing to shear their sheep (a.k.a less computer savvy consumers). It won't be long until crap like this starts affecting life of an advanced user in some ways (if it hasn't already).

Microsoft imposing a 4GB VRAM limit on DX9 applications in Windows 10 has had some implications already, it's sad visiting a forum (post) only to realize someone is nerfing software and maybe even hardware.

Maybe they were trying to push DX12 so developers would start moving onto developing for that API instead. But there's almost no evidence of this. Nobody ever explains for what reason stuff like this happens. I hate being left in the dark and have to come up with my own reasons why.

It already does, I just realized the customizations that WXP could do I cant in W7 and so forth, Mozilla Firefox doesnt support complete themes like 3.6 did. Etc

Firefox used to be my favorite browser (2007-2010), and because it lacked multi-threading support for faster operations, I left it for Chrome (2011-2015). But Chrome became a complete memory hog. So I moved onto Vivaldi (based on Chromium, developed by ex-opera browser guys I believe), which is pretty good IMO. But it's not supported by CCleaner to clean cache files and so on. But I digress.

I use Waterfox myself, had to put in classic them restorer and classic buttons (the default theme in those browsers are boring)
