Microsoft Windows Vista has been released to manufacturers

Microsoft announced today the availability of Windows Vista and Office 2007 to businesses. While the common consumer will have to wait until January 30th 2007 for their copy, businesses can now begin mass implementing the latest operating system from Microsoft. It may have taken over five years for Vista to be developed, but CEO Steve Ballmer says that it was definitely worth it. "It's an exciting thing to finally be here. That's all I'll say about the past". Despite businesses being allowed to play with Vista, it is unlikely that it will have a very fast implementation. 86% of IT departments who responded in a market survey by CDW said they would upgrade to Windows Vista, but only 20% said they would do so in the next year.

Those ppl are going to get an even BUGGIER version of Vista than the one that will be released for the consumers, so they lose.
All in all, even the version that will be released in Feburary isnt going to be good. There will still be many things to fix and thats good, because by the time theyll fix it, there will be a hack so i can have it for free

Shame shame! Last I checked this is not a pirate/crack site.

I know alot of you will say Ha Ha sucka, go ahead and give M$ your money, blah blah blah...........................but I for one do plan on buying Vista when it launches. I have beta2 and RC1, and I like what I have seen. I look forward to Vista, DX10, and Crysis. :cool:

Cracks are part of every site, wether u like it or not. Would u have us not talk abt anything that is illegel? The fact that this isnt a pirate/crack site dosent mean that we cant TALK abt it.. ur only trying to sound mature, or "right" by copying what others have said once before abt cracks.. its meaningless.

If u want to pay 2000$ for ur PC AND another 300$+ for ur OS, then please go ahead and do so. Im sick of paying for every little thing. Its bad enough that PCs cost so much nowadays, only because no one is subsidising PCs like they do consoles.. For consoles, not only do Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo get everything cheaper because its in bulk, but they also sell it at a loss, while PC retailers just try to get u to pay the most possible.
Could u imagine having to pay for an Xbox 360 AND for it's OS? No.. and what the whole purpose of Vista anyway? Games!
