This is a place to post music, hang out and talk. Keep the music and talk clean.

    I'll bite.

At the moment, I'm listening to some old school Metallica while I enjoy some Rocket League, Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen. Being enjoyed through my Aune T1, feeding my AKG 553 Pro's. Nice little mid-fi setup that treats me well and doesn't annoy the wife. Add some needed low-end with Equalizer APO + Peace UI. Doesn't quite match what I had with my Hifiman HE-400's, but good enough and isolated! :D

The energy of this album is excellent...and this is one of my go-to listens when Metallica is on order, though to be honest I enjoy most all of their stuff, even the newer releases (well some of them). I'm a rock/metal fan first and foremost. To calm down, I need some aggressive jams and I can focus and do what I need to.

I think Dub is a little general.

I like a lot of classic rock. Pink Floyd is one of my favorites.

I like a lot of electronic music that I wouldn't consider to be Dub... Thats why i mention that. There are genres such as melodic Chill-step, Psybient, Psytrance etc. All a lot different and more enjoying than the generic Dub, or dubstep :) - Just my thoughts/opinion.

True sophisticated Heavy Metal 4 Life... :rockout:. I can't stand new metal as such... as it is way too simple. You can give me loads of Progressive Opeth, Nevermore progressing into death black metal likeness if I am in a touchy mood. Often listen to classics Sabbath/Maiden/Priest they are just golden. Then Thrash when chopping wood :D. There is plenty of material actually. Metal is alive again and kicking.

I'm tempted to write a post with several hundred words about Metallica, but instead I just post the albums in the order best-worst (depending on the mood a bit).

    1. ...And Justice For All (imagine if you actually heard the bass!)
1b. Master of Puppets (because it's so close to ...Justice)
    3. Ride the Lightning
    4. St. Anger (indeed)
    6. Load
    5. Kill 'em All
    6. Metallica
    7. Reload
    a million billion: Death Magnetic

I found an old laptop hdd on which I found some of the old stuff I was listening to. BTW, their album the saltire wave is excellent. If you can find it.

    Random stuff I find interesting:

http://fakedreality.de/page/ (can't find their first album though, which is better, or at least more chaotic, and probably worse)

    Glorious Indonesian noise:

The excellent first album of Nekrogoblikon (the later ones were ... pretty boring somehow, the first album is still hilarious though)

    Amazing swedish post metal something:

Les Claypool always makes me happy:

    And this one too:

Music for me depends on my mood and what I'm doing. I have music for relaxing, music for when I'm pissed, music for when I'm working, and music for when I'm working and pissed. :)

This one is from my "F**KING DO IT!" playlist on Spotify.

F U !!!! Dubstep is alright :p im more of a gabber/hardstyle and jungle/DnB person tho. To bother the neighbors though, Skrillex or some filthy dubstep is a must :p

here's my pick for some classic Jungle. the master himself Kenny Ken, with the LEGENDARY Stevie Hyper D :D

set from Toronto Canada too i might add :D T.O. was the rave capitol of Canada for all of the 90s :D

There's so much music out there that I like. Rock from the 60s and 70s are my favorite. It's what I grew up with. I like later Rock too. I like most music except Classical Music, Rap and Country.
