Minecraft to get 'super duper graphics'

The video game is set to release the ‘Better Together Update’ that enables users to play with others in the game and lets the game's designers give it ‘a new lick of paint’.

Users will soon experience 4K HDR graphics and be given access to the ‘Super Duper Graphics Pack', which adds stunning effects to scenes such as sparkles on rippling water and dynamic shadows.

Wow that does look good! 4k? Hell yeah! I've been running a Minecraft server for right around 3 years now for my daughter and friends. I'd actually jump on and play more often with this update.

This is only applicable to the Win10 version. I've yet to hear any news about updates to the java version.

Did this many years ago with Faithful Mod and looked way better than that, as GT said just looks like less fog applied.

Might check Creative servers again with new graphics. I always loved making insane creations. I just miss Builder rank that I had once. Filling and copying structures was so useful opposed to doing everything block by block...

Seems like they've integrated some shaders and textures like modders have been doing since the game has been out of beta quite a few years back.

Isn't the windows 10 version just the pocket version in windows? My server is for the PC minecraft....so that mean we do not get this? damn.
