Missing review ? 290 thief benchmark

Maybe i am going blind or some thing but seems like it's none existent, some one have a look and see ?..

Reason why is that i been trying to get the same fps or even near to it out of my card and it's some 20 fps short.

11fps short of the 290 and 20fps short of the 290x, and kinda shocked as these are max fps benchmarks and not average which is more ideal although if they are averages i be a hell lot more missing than 1st thought

But it's not the none 3rd party 290X that claims 119fps for thief which i love to know how the hell it did that. I have overclocked the crap out of mine and the cpu along with it and still cannot get any were near a extra 20fps.

is your card set to quiet mode? or are the temps high? I could imagine that kind of difference if your card was throttling to much lower frequencies.
Also the 4770K was at 4.2 in that test if your cpu was at stock that might also explain it. Hard to imagine there would be a 20 frame gain from drivers though.

regular system variances can be up to 5% though you seem to be seeing more than that. And I do believe W1z's reviews put up averages not max.

Nope running cpu at 4.4 and the card is not throttling, i monitor all that in game.

I thought he did averages too but if that's the case it's a lot more than 20fps were taking here.

Maybe it some thing to do with the AA setting however there is no option to have 4x AA.

EDIT: Average is around 75fps so shii..

I can understand you not saying which benchmarks you did not include as there is a lot of copy cats out their.
