AT&T does the same shite. IF I wasn't getting a massive discount with them through work I would have ditched them ages ago.

just checked that out... 50 bucks for 35GB. that's extremely expensive.
even in the expensive germany i can get a true no throttling unlimited call, sms, hotspot 225mb/s plan for less than 40€/month.

Second, it's "The Verge". They're are not exactly known for competence in the area of proper context comprehension. Taking their articles seriously is like expecting Chris Rock to behave with class and dignity at the Oscars.

Sure, I know the verge is sometimes a little suspect in their reporting, but for me, it's always fun to throw shade on Verizanon anyways....
and FYI, I have seen this same story pop up on other news sites too...

And yea, I had TmO for a while too, but their prices were steadily increasing and they also starting pushing everyone really hard (at least in my area) to get their home internet servce in order to get a very small discount on the cell service, so I finally settled on Google Fi and haven't looked back since
